Mr. Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR has an agenda to transform Anambra into a digital and creative capital of Nigeria – a smart mega city. Mr. Governor established the Solution Innovation District (SID) to foster the growth of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Anambra State.
This event will be a platform to show Anambra to the
world and attract the world to Anambra State. The goal of Anambra Innovation Week is to position Anambra as the destination where the world looks forward to coming annually to witness and showcase the rapid technology-driven transformations, investments and projects shaping the economies of Anambra, Nigeria and Africa.

In the vibrant entrepreneurial landscape of Anambra State, a myriad of private micro, small and medium businesses flourish with remarkable success. However, in this era of rapid technological advancement, many of these enterprises are gradually harnessing the transformative power of technology. In the same vein, across the public sector and school system in the state, technology is still largely a new language. To change this narrative, Mr Governor set an agenda to transform Anambra into a digital and creative capital of Nigeria, a smart mega city and thus established the Solution Innovation District (SID), to champion the growth of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Anambra State.
SID champions the Anambra Technovation Revolution. Our vision with AIW 2024 is to inspire a paradigm shift, inspire businesses, public and private sectors to embrace innovation and infuse technology into their operations.

INNOVATION COMPETITION - MDAS & STARTUPS
Description:
Encourage government agencies to embrace digital transformation while fostering a competitive startup ecosystem in Anambra.
Objective:
- Public Sector Hackathon for MDAs (Innovative Solutions for Public Service Delivery)
- Startup Pitching Event for Startups
- Workshops on Digital Transformation in Government
Day 2, 26th November 2024
INNOVATION SHOWDOWN: TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS & LGAS
Description:
Competitions for university and tertiary-level students and ICT competition at the LGA level. This day focuses on more advanced tech innovation.
Objective:
- Stimulate deeper tech engagement among students, fostering practical problem-solving and entrepreneurial thinking.

SOLUTION YOUNGSTARS ICT PRIZE: SECONDARY SCHOOLS
Description:
A day dedicated to empowering secondary school students across all 21 LGAs of Anambra State by engaging them in ICT-based competitions to cultivate their interest in digital skills at an early age.
Objective:
- Ignite tech interest among the students, encourage innovation, and build foundational digital literacy.

SID TRADENOVATION FAIR FOR SMES
Description:
A dedicated day for SMEs to explore digital transformation.

- Equip SMEs with tools for embracing tech and innovation, driving both local and global sales.
- Tradenovation Fair for SMEs (In-person and Virtual Marketplace)
- Startup Pitching Competition
- Masterclasses for SMEs on Tech-Driven Sales & Digital Marketing
- Vendors will also be trained ahead of the tradenovation Fair

GRAND SUMMIT & KEY EVENTS
Description:
The grand summit featuring keynotes, panel discussions, and the launch of the ʻ1 Million Anambra Digital Tribe Project.
